This philosophy was front and center in Lifestyle Asia’s recent Art After Dark experience, taking the form of an unforgettable evening of artistry, expression, and style that exemplified what contemporary luxury means to a new generation.

Always in pursuit of perfection, Lexus ensured that the night was nothing short of memorable. Chauffeur services took select guests on a smooth ride to Art After Dark’s chic venue, inviting them to Experience Amazing. Kerry Tinga, Lifestyle Asia Chief of Editorial Content, as well as Bea Elizalde, the cover personality of Lifestyle Asia‘s June “Style and Expression” issue, both arrived in style via Lexus’s flagship models.
Design couple Kifu Augousti and Patrick Coard, whose home was featured in the June issue, also enjoyed a chauffeured ride; as did entrepreneur Robyn See, who was featured in a June issue story as one of three glowing brides-to-be.
Photographer Artu Nepomuceno—whose exhibition of photographs Parabellum lies at the heart of Art After Dark—was also chauffeured by Lexus. He arrived in the early afternoon to see his works before the show, calm and relaxed amid the afternoon rush; no doubt a testament to the pleasant journey that the brand provided.
Lexus Sets The Scene
As guests arrived at the venue, they were welcomed with the sight of the Lexus LBX, which enhanced the event’s elevated atmosphere. They also caught a glimpse of some of Nepomuceno’s works in the vibrant digital displays that surrounded the car.
A hybrid electric vehicle, the Lexus LBX was designed for young professionals and urban dwellers seeking a more sustainable and stylish option that fits their dynamic lifestyles. The car commanded the space with its updated spindle design, which seamlessly combines top-notch design and performance through sleek lines and exceptional aerodynamics, redefining the idea of compact luxury.
The Lexus LBX was a fitting choice of model for the event, which celebrates Lifestyle Asia‘s June 2025 style and expression issue. In the spirit of the issue’s core theme, Lexus recognizes authenticity and individuality as integral aspects of self-expression: the car can be personalized with a curated selection of eight stunning colors, each one made to fit different tastes and personalities—after all, more than a high-powered vehicle, a Lexus car is an extension of the self.

The LBX on display was also set against a backdrop of a delicate paper tapestry, which blends local craftsmanship with Japanese tradition through handmade artistry by skilled Filipino paper artisans, incorporating original techniques with 1000-year-old Washi paper-making practices. This thoughtful pairing reflects the very essence of Lexus’s Japanese heritage—the philosophy of takumi, or relentless pursuit of perfection through masterful craftsmanship.
