Ramen Ron’s signature silky broth meets Pilya’s Kitchen’s spice-forward cooking in a month-long collaboration available until August 31, 2026.
Two of Manila’s MICHELIN-recognized restaurants are joining forces this month. Until August 31, 2026, Ramen Ron and Pilya’s Kitchen are serving a limited-time collaboration that melds Japanese ramen with Chinese comfort food, combining the signature dishes and flavors that have made each restaurant a favorite among local diners.
Available at Ramen Ron’s Rockwell and BGC branches, the collaboration features two exclusive dishes. The Mapo Tofu Ramen (₱690), which pairs Ramen Ron’s silky Ukokkei chicken soy sauce broth and ramen noodles with Pilya’s Kitchen’s savory mapo tofu, spring onions, and homemade chili oil. Meanwhile, the Mala Gyoza (₱370) gives Ramen Ron’s pan-fried dumplings a spicy finish with Pilya’s Kitchen’s homemade mala sauce and chili oil.
Only 30 servings of each dish will be available daily throughout the collaboration.

The partnership joins two restaurants that share a dedication to handmade cooking and comforting flavors, each interpreted through a different culinary tradition. Amado Forés, founder of AF Hospitality, the restaurant group behind Ramen Ron, says the collaboration had been a natural fit from the start. “We’ve always admired what Chef Kriza has built with Pilya’s Kitchen. Like Ramen Ron, it’s a restaurant rooted in dedication to handmade ingredients and bold, comforting flavors. It’s a chance to work together in a way that feels exciting while staying true to what each of us does best,” he shares.
For Chef Kriza Palmero, founder and executive chef of Pilya’s Kitchen, the collaboration reflects a shared philosophy between the two kitchens. “This collaboration is a celebration of two kitchens brought together by a shared love for noodles, craftsmanship, and creating food that brings people together,” she says.
