With its sophomore collection, Twenty Third explores how pattern, texture, and individual objects can give a home a more personal character.
Twenty Third launched its first collection with a promise of restraint. Its debut pieces stuck to minimal lines, furniture that did its job without asking for attention; this time around, the Manila-based home and lifestyle brand presents a set of pieces that want to be noticed through its new collection Chapter II: Explore. Alongside the launch, Twenty Third will also open its Warehouse by Appointment, offering a more immersive way to discover and shop the pieces.

A Refreshed Vocabulary For Twenty Third

Chapter II: Explore swaps the brand’s early neutrality for a more sculptural register, with curved forms and rich patterns. Wood keeps its knots and streaks instead of getting sanded down to a uniform finish. Stone shows its naturally occurring variations. Floral motifs and small unexpected details give individual pieces a distinct character, an approach that assumes a room gets more interesting when its objects don’t all agree with each other.

“Chapter II is really about allowing ourselves to explore a little more,” shares Twenty Third founder and designer Deanne Lim. “We wanted to introduce more patterns, more interesting forms, and pieces that have a stronger personality, but still feel timeless enough to live with for years.”

How Chapter II: Explore Goes Beyond The Matching Set
The collection also changes how Twenty Third talks about furnishing a home. Rather than offering one look to copy in full, Chapter II: Explore is built on the idea that a home comes together slowly, through years of pairing different textures, materials, and objects rather than a single coordinated purchase. The premise is that a home built this way, piece by piece over time, ends up looking like the person who lives in it rather than a showroom display.
Materials still get chosen the way they always have at Twenty Third: with a focus on how they hold up over years, rather than how they look the day they arrive. That standard applies across the collection, from large furniture down to the smaller objects meant to sit on a shelf. Each piece earns its spot for what it brings to a room, not for how well it matches what’s already there.

What Are The New Pieces In Twenty Third’s Chapter II: Explore?
Pieces in the new collection include the barrel-back Millie Vanity Chair, upholstered in a floral jacquard fabric with a fringe skirt at the base; the Knox Rocking Chair, covered in a burgundy-and-cream striped fabric; and the sculptural, half-dome wood Kano stools, raised on arched legs. Twenty Third spent its first collection proving its furniture could last, but now, Chapter II asks whether that same furniture can also have something to say.
“Chapter II: Explore” is available at Twenty Third starting September 9, 2026. To celebrate the launch, Twenty Third will be offering 20% off to the first 23 checkouts on their website at twenty-third.ph.
