Inside The Red Charity Gala 2026 Dinner And Auction
The evening began with cocktails at Salon de Ning before dinner took over The Peninsula Manila’s landmark lobby. Guests enjoyed performances by The Company and a jazz set by Nicole Asensio, accompanied by Gabriel Lazaro on trumpet.

The live auction, hosted by Tim Yap and Tessa Prieto with support from Ferdi Salvador, raised ₱5.5 million for the beneficiary organizations. Offerings included jewelry from DIAGOLD and Jewelmer, home furnishings, international flights, and hotel stays.
Travel packages included Chicago via Philippine Airlines with a stay at The Peninsula Chicago, and Istanbul via Emirates with a stay at The Peninsula Istanbul. Among the artworks were Katrina Cuenca’s To Be Taken Apart, and Put Back Together and Doktor Karayom’s Lasing sa Kwentohan.
To toast the occasion, co-chairpersons Prieto and Tinga invited longtime sponsor and supporter Ben Chan to join them onstage. JC Buendia’s Red Charity Gala 2026 Collection
Guests then moved into the Rigodon Ballroom for Buendia’s 44-look presentation, with production design by Gino Gonzales, lighting by Monino Duque, and direction by Dexter Santos.

Inspired by the beauty and poetry of Asian silhouettes, the collection featured fluid, effortless designs made to move with the woman wearing them. Each look also carried a personal dedication: the entire collection honored Buendia’s mother, whose presence, grace, and memory continue to inspire his work.
That tribute gave the finale particular tenderness. As “Rainbow Connection” played, Buendia walked down the runway alongside the final look, closing the show with a heartfelt moment.
