Stars test positive for COVID-19

Amidst South Korea’s Omnicron surge, more stars have been testing positive. Pledis Entertainment, home to Seventeen, announced on March 2 that after feeling cough and sore throat, member Hoshi (Kwon Soon-young) tested positive with a self-test kit. He then followed up with a PCR test and tested positive once again. “Hoshi has no other symptoms other than a cough and sore throat, so he’s receiving treatment at home,” Pledis continued.

Block B member and current variety star P.O. has also tested positive. According to his agency Artist Company, “P.O recently tested positive in a preemptive self-testing kit. He immediately underwent PCR testing and was ultimately diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 2.”

While the rest of the Squid Games cast were celebrating their big wins at the SAG Awards, Wi Ha-joon underwent a COVID-19 test and tested positive the next day. According to his agency MSTeam Entertainment, is currently in self-quarantine.

Having already completed his 3rd dose, Wi is not experiencing any symptoms and is expecting to be released from quarantine on March 8.

NCT Dream Drops 1st Teaser

At the Seoul Music Awards, NCT Dream dropped 2 major pieces of news: the first was Renjun’s haircut. While everyone on social media went crazy for his new Song Joongki-esque ‘do, the other members also had new hairstyles…which means a comeback! The group confirmed as much when they released a congratulatory video behind the scenes after the entire NCT brand came home with big wins.

More than a month later, SM Entertainment finally confirmed the news with a new teaser, titled Glitch Mode, and announced that the second full album was going to be released on March 28 and pre-orders are already open.

Not much is known about how the album will sound but thanks to members who like sharing spoilers (thanks Chenle!) we know some bits and pieces. The look of the graphics seems to imply a 90s-cartoon retro feel, which will be interesting for those of us who love 90s nostalgia (not so for NCT Dream, because only one member was born in the 90s).

Jo In-sung Joins Instagram!

Beloved actor Jo In-sung has joined the social media platform. His agency IOK announced “Hello. Actor Jo In Sung’s official Instagram is now open. We ask for your warm support and encouragement from now on. Please also show Jo In Sung your attention as he returns with ‘Unexpected Business 2’~”

The first few photos are of behind-the-scenes photos from his tvN reality series ‘Unexpected Business 2,’ where he and fellow actor Cha Tae Hyun work as convenience store owners in a rural town.

How I Met Your Father in Hot Water After BTS Joke Lands Poorly

When the writers of How I Met Your Father, the spin-off to the popular How I Met Your Mother series starring Hilary Duff thought of making a pop culture reference in the show, they probably thought it would get a few laughs. However, they bit off more than they could chew when the joke in question was about BTS’ Jungkook leaving the group.

“Did Jungkook leave BTS and go solo?” asked Charlie (Tom Ainsley), before adding, “Mm, we all saw it coming!” The clip went viral, and the show tweeted a screen-cap of the moment. Devoted members of #Army did not find it funny and proceeded to downvote the ratings on all available rating platforms.

Fans are now predicting a swift cancellation, although the news did drop that the show is getting a second season…so we’ll see!
