We can’t celebrate a holiday without feasting on some festive dishes. Here are just some restaurants offering special menus for this Chinese New Year.

City of Dreams
Find these three restaurants at City of Dreams to try out each of their specialties. From January 16 to 29, Crystal Dragon’s festive Chinese New Year menu will be available for lunch and dinner.
Enjoy an opulent twist to the traditional yu sheng with Prosperity Roasted Duck with jellyfish, crispy vegetables and plum dressing. Each serving (P1,600++) is good for a group of five people.
Their Roasted Crispy Spring Chicken with supreme soy sauce, Crispy Taro and New Year Cake Pillow, and Wok-tossed Creamy Prawns with fragrant shredded coconut are also not to be missed.
Red Ginger is offering five auspicious dishes (from January 17 to February 5) including their Braised Pork Knuckle with king mushrooms which signifies prosperity.
Singapore’s TungLok Signatures will also be serving their own yu sheng salad, prepared with salmon, a medley of fresh vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients.
The dish signifies blessings and fortune while each ingredient represents a wish, as the salad is tossed as high as it can go.
TungLok Signatures’ Prosperity Yu Sheng Salad is available from January 16 to 24. Each serving (P2,888) can be shared by six to eight people.
Newport World Resorts
The resort’s signature restaurant, Happy 8, is serving the Imperial Rabbit Feast from January 15 to February 15.
The set menu (P5,088 per person) features Wok Fried Lobster Tail in Chili Sauce with Crispy Mantou, Pan Fried Prime Rib Eye Beef in Red Wine Sauce with King Oyster Mushroom, and a Salmon Yee Sang with Plum Sauce.
Newport World Resorts international hotel brands have also prepared special menus for the holiday. Hilton Manila is offering a Feast of Fortune at the Hua Yuan Brasserie Chinoise, for rates starting at P18,888++ from January 15 to 25.
At Marriott Hotel Manila’s Man Ho, the Poon Choi for Good Fortune features abalone, prawns, roasted duck, and more. At P29,888 for a group of five, you can enjoy the restaurant’s Lunar New Year offers until February 5.
Conrad Manila
Conrad Manila’s award-winning restaurant, China Blue by Jereme Leung, is offering a set menu that features traditional favorites and signature highlights.
Indulge in Steamed Live Sea Lapu-Lapu with Black Garlic, Shredded Assorted Mushrooms in superior soy sauce; Stir-fried King Prawn with Creamy Garlic Chili Sauce; and a Golden Roast US Duck with Barbeque Sauce.
Rates for this set menu (available from January 14 to 27) start at P48,888 for a table of ten people.
Diners can also bring home a box of nian gao, shaped like a koi fish and mini gold bars, for P2,388.
Grand Hyatt Manila
Celebrate Chinese New Year at the Grand Ballroom on January 22 and feast on Chinese cuisine prepared by Chinese master chefs with a live cooking show. The Grand Ballroom’s set menu starts at P25,888 for a group of six diners.
Gift your loved ones with Grand Hyatt Manila’s homemade Nian Gao in traditional brown sugar flavor and Chinese New Year Cake, available from January 13 to 22.
The hotel’s restaurants—No. 8 China House, The Grand Kitchen, and The Lounge—will also offer Chinese New Year set menus, buffets, and traditional delicacies.
The Podium
Restaurants at The Podium join in on the festivities with a variety of authentic Chinese cuisine.
Paradise Dynasty will be serving their signature Specialty Xioa Long Bao, La Mian with Braised Pork Belly, and Poached Beef in Szechuan Chili Oil.
Shanghai Saloon has prepared specially curated set menus and unlimited Yum Cha while Mann Hann has their bestselling Lechon Macau, dim sum Radish Cake, and Fried Noodles with Seafood.
