It was a celebration at Bench Tower’s The Playground when the book Love Local was launched. Moving stories by Teddy Boy Locsin, Ambeth Ocampo, Clinton Palanca, Audrey Carpio, Anna Canlas, Don Jaucian, Gian Lao and Carina Santos and photographs by Mark Nicdao, BJ Pascual, Jack Alindahao, JL Javier, Patrick Diokno, Ralph Mendoza, Johann Nona, Onin Lorente, Joseph Pascual, Koji Arboleda, Cenon Norial III and Regine David put focus on the best what our country has to offer both locally and abroad, are chronicled in the collectible.
The event commemorated 28 years of Bench which brought together the country’s biggest celebrities and personalities who are all proponents of a world class Philippines. Love Local was edited by Paolo Lorenzana and Raymond Ang and was published by Ben Chan. Larger than life portraits of some of the most iconic names in Philippine showbiz such as Eddie Garcia, and Pilita Corrales, politics and society were displayed all over the hall while original Pilipino music played through out the night. Exquisite Filipino cuisine by Chef Gaita Fores was served.
