Dua Lipa, who also co-chaired this year’s Met Gala, has been revealed as the latest high-profile name to collaborate with this Italian luxury fashion company.
The long-time Versace muse is teaming up with Donatella Versace to co-design Versace’s High Summer “La Vacanza” women’s collection.

This is not Lipa’s first foray into fashion design as she also did a capsule collection for Pepe Jeans London in 2019 and is a long-time ambassador for PUMA.
Lipa described the “strong bond” she has developed with Versace over the years. “For her to give me the honor of co-designing this collection and letting all my summer inspirations go wild has been a dream,” she mentioned.
Since the early days of her career, Lipa worked closely with the label. Whether as a guest of Versace at the 2019 Met Gala, taking to the runway, or even fronting their Spring/Summer campaign last year, Lipa and Versace’s friendship has always been visible.
As revealed in Versace’s Instagram post, the Versace “La Vacanza” fashion show will happen on May 23rd in Cannes, France, while the Cannes Film Festival is taking place.
“Working with Dua on this collection has been very exciting and I love the dynamic between us,” Versace stated in her post. “Dua is strong, fearless, and free and her creative vision is exceptional. Summer is a magical time.”

Another photo of Lipa posted on her Instagram with the caption “I like big billboards and I cannot lie,” together with her Versace billboard seen in the background.
If there would be any indication of what the pieces will look like, there will surely be plenty of metallics, sequins, and barely-there backless dresses—all crafted with the seductive spirit that’s a signature of Versace and Lipa as well.
The collection is said to be available in-store and on the website immediately following the show.
