In November 2013, chefs Chele Gonzalez and Carlos Villaflor established Gallery Vask. Their vision was to create an experience that went beyond fine dining and focused on dining exceptionally. The restaurant garnered critical and public acclaim, both locally and internationally.
In May 2018, they transformed the restaurant which became Gallery by Chele. It showcases the culinary heritage of the Philippines while retaining its culinary innovation.
Gallery by Chele turns 10 this year. So, expect an extraordinary series of collaborative dining events called Gallery by Chele: A Decade.

Chef patron and partner Gonzalez says “Having Gallery by Chele celebrate its 10th year means everything to me. Over the years, we have built and grown our kitchens, the dining room, the menu, and our people to create a dining experience unlike any other.
“This year, the story of Gallery by Chele reaches a new high. With our newly refurbished interiors, a beautiful menu, and a hyper-focus on the guest experience, we are ready to share (the) new and invigorated Gallery by Chele for the new decade to come.”
Executive sous-chef and partner Villaflor adds “Gallery by Chele: A Decade is not only a celebration of our 10-year journey. It is also an expression of gratitude for our partners, colleagues, and devoted friends who have played an important role in shaping who we are over the years.”
TRANSCENDING BORDERS
Philippine culinary traditions have been influenced by centuries of cultural and social interactions that resulted in a diverse cuisine. Gallery by Chele endeavors to create boundary-breaking, cross cultural dishes that transcend geographical borders.
In line with this, it began its 10th anniversary celebrations with an exclusive four-hands dinner collaboration with Sun Kim of Meta in Singapore. It is honored to partner with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to create these one-of-a-kind dining events in Manila through STB’s “Serve It. Singapore!” initiative to bring Singapore’s signature dining experiences to the world.
