The sixth edition of the Manila Coffee Festival will not only be celebrating the country’s diverse coffee culture, but also its flavorful cacao products.
Coffee enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to, as The Coffee Heritage Project is bringing its highly-anticipated Manila Coffee Festival to Newport World Resorts this March 15 to 17, 2024. The lifestyle event’s sixth edition will take place at the MGBx Convention Hall, Marriott Manila, and aims to continue its mission of highlighting the country’s vibrant coffee traditions. However, this year’s celebration is offering a fresh twist to attendees, branching out to the bean’s sweet partner: cacao. Indeed, chocolate and coffee have always been a powerhouse combination, so the new collaboration is certainly an apt one.

A Coffee and Chocolate Symphony
The festival will be introducing its first ever “Cacao Alley,” which features locally-processed sing-origin cacao; authentic chocolates from Maranaw, Sarangani, Cotabato, and Batangas; as well as sustainable products that use the popular bonbon.
No Manila Coffee Festival is complete without its beloved “The Single Origin Bar,” which returns once again to champion the delicious single-origin coffees of more Filipino farmers for festival-goers to taste and savor. For this year, the bar will be adding 10 new sources to its already impressive lineup, each cup offering a taste of its beans’ unique heritage alongside cultural performances by the communities that grow them.
The menu will also feature expertly-crafted coffee cocktails made of single-origin Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans at the “Double Shot Bar,” with dashes of flavorful SHOTT syrup to tie everything together.
More Delicious Experiences Await
There’s a lot more to indulge in at the upcoming coffee festival, with hundreds of exhibitions filling up the event. These include specialty roasters Yardstick Coffee, artisan brunch spot Maker and Made, and handcrafted ice cream shop Papa Diddi’s. Other sweet surprises like coffee talks and competitions also await event-goers.
