Who is too old for whom, exactly?
Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and supermodel Gigi Hadid are the latest subjects of dating speculation.

The Daily Mail published photos showing the rumored couple together at a friend’s party in New York.
Sources have also told People that the pair have been hanging out: “He really likes that she has her life together. She has a child and she’s mature. He wants to be with someone who has the same idea of good causes and political views like he does.”
DiCaprio, 47, is two whole decades older than Hadid, 27. The latter, however, is the one who might be a couple of years too old for the former’s taste.
Both news and social media have pointed out DiCaprio’s alleged dating preference for only women aged 25 or under.
The number 25
“Social media jokes aside, there appears to be an element of truth to the claims that DiCaprio doesn’t date women above the age of 25. Though he keeps a low profile outside of promoting his movies. DiCaprio has had a number of relationships known to the public. Dating back to the year 1999 and onwards, DiCaprio had not publicly dated anyone over the age of 25,” Newsweek Fact Check reported.

The publication cited DiCaprio’s dating history with Gisele Bündchen, Bar Refaeli, Toni Garrn, and most recently, Camila Morrone.
“So far as it is possible to corroborate a public figure’s dating history, the claim that Leonardo DiCaprio has not dated anyone above the age of 25 appears to be correct. But the important bit of context here is that it is feasible that some relationships have gone under the radar of the press or the public. So this possibility cannot be definitively ruled out,” Newsweek concluded.
