Sofitel Philippine Plaza became an elegant and nostalgic fashion show of international and multi-awarded fashion designer Albert Andrada, as 15 models illuminated the Spiral staircase and elevators in haute couture gowns inspired by Chinese spring flowers, an interpretation of Filipino design and innovation.
The L’Abondance Collection were accentuated by the glamorous style of make-up by Guerlain, hair by Aveda, and golden pearls by Jewelmer. Models such as Jodilly Pendre, Justine Gabionza, Bianca Guidotti, Yvethe Santiago, Marie Ann Umali, Elaine Moll, and Alaiza Malinao joined Hideo Muraoka and Sam Adjani in unveiling the collection.
Actress and model Kaila Estrada was awarded Lady Guerlain of the night. And as guests enjoyed a bountiful feast of Cantonese, Hakka, and Sze Chuan prepared by Chef Michael Tai, lucky guests won special gifts that evening from Nuxe Paris, Tefal Kitchenware, Le Spa and Vietura.
On regular days, Spiral’s dining patrons can enjoy the Chinese ateliers sumptuous offerings from the Wok, Noodles and Peking Duck.
