Tony Award winning musical American Idiot rocked Manila’s theatre scene with an all-Filipino cast at the new Globe Iconic Store in Bonifacio High Street. 9 Works Theatrical in partnership with Globe Telecom staged the rock opera that brought to life some of the most iconic songs from Green Day’s musical anthology such as 21 Guns, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and Wake Me Up When September Ends. Not even the heat could stop theatre aficionados from the world of fashion, advertising, showbiz and business from rocking to the songs all throughout the show. As the cast took a bow, the audience gave them a well-deserved standing ovation.
