The Lifestyle Asia Garden Gala was an intimate afternoon of meaningful connections, set against a lush garden backdrop and the elegant interiors of The Peninsula Manila. Besides being a year-end thanksgiving celebration for editor-in-chief Candy Dizon, it also marked the launch of the highly-anticipated LA Obsessions—a coffee table book exploring the stories behind ardent and inspiring passions. Of course, as the old adage goes, the journey is just as important as the destination. Lifestyle Asia partner Lexus helped make the occasion extra special through lavish displays and chauffeur services that represented both brands’ commitment to creating unparalleled luxury experiences.

A Pleasurable Ride
Lexus provided chauffeur services to select gala guests, taking them on a pleasant afternoon drive. The worries of holiday traffic dissipated within the spacious, comfortable interiors of the Lexus RZ 450e, which delivered an exceptional riding experience. Guests were dropped off in style at The Peninsula, and greeted by a marvelous display of the elegant 2024 Lexus LS 500 Premier before they proceeded to the verdant event venue at The Conservatory.

The 2024 Lexus LS 500 Premier redefines what a sedan can be, standing as a paragon of comfort, performance, safety, and style. As the gala display showcased, the car was built to cater and anticipate every need on the road. A 23-speaker system envelopes the interior, creating a remarkably accurate soundstage for music. Cutting-edge technology like the 14 sensor-controlled SRS airbags, intelligent pre-collision sensors, and a Blind Spot Monitor ensure that trips are as safe as can be.
Always in pursuit of perfection, Lexus’ remarkable attention to detail can be seen through the car’s traditional Japanese touches, namely the cabin handcrafted by takumi masters with its shimmering and ornate patterned door that exudes quiet luxury.

Lexus made its mark in the lush and sprawling garden gala in other ways as well. A vast array of delightful sweet treats and canapès were laid out in elegant cake tier stands. The desserts featured delicious white chocolate and fondant accents with Lexus’ recognizable “L” logo, which also adorned the sleek, black coasters on guests’ tables as they lounged with their choice of cocktails and other refreshing beverages.
Stepping inside The Conservatory, guests found themselves in a stunning indoor garden filled with trees, fresh flowers, and foliage. LED screens showcased Lexus cars in action, driving through scenic outdoor roads with ease.
After a heartwarming and rousing speech from editor-in-chief Candy Dizon, the program culminated with a special toast to the launch of the LA Obsessions book with Dizon, Lexus brand department manager Pocholo Molina; managing editor Mawi Fojas de Ocampo; COO of One MEGA Group, Inc. Ramon Galicia; publisher of One MEGA Group, Inc. Janine Recto; and members of the editorial team.
