United States of America Ambassador Sung Y. Kim folded the cuffs of his shirt to set the tone for the smart casual evening reception at the official residence. Art brought the invited guests together for the occasion honoring Women’s History Month. Lithographs, acrylic on canvas and silkscreen works that belong to the Art in Embassies Collection in Manila, hung on the walls, pieces personally selected by the distinguished resident. There was a constant flow of people from the interiors, where the framed pictures by American artists were displayed, to the open garden, where a buffet was prepared. Not a few lingered for ice cream and pleasantries, and photographs with Ambassador Kim.
