In Lines of Legacy, Kenneth Montegrande not only revisits the late artist’s beloved seascapes and floral subjects, but also raises funds for his foundation’s scholarship program.
For artist Kenneth Montegrande, his painting goes beyond self-expression or the demonstration of innate talent; it’s a spiritual practice and a way of creating lasting, tangible change. His drive to give back and engage with the world through his work echoes the values held by the late Juvenal Sansó. Lines of Legacy: Kenneth Montegrande in Tribute to Sansó—a collaboration with Fundacion Sansó and Galerie Joaquin—is the latest endeavor that reflects the artist’s commitment to extending his practice’s impact beyond the canvas.

Honoring The Vibrant World Of Juvenal Sansó
In Lines of Legacy, Montegrande revisits two of Sansó’s most cherished themes—seascapes and flowers—infusing them with his own unique voice and sensibility.
“Since our first collaboration in 2020, I have seen Montegrande explore a range of visual languages—from Turner-inspired seascapes, to gestural abstract expressionist canvases, to, more recently, the vibrant yet contemplative beauty of flowers,” shares Ricky Francisco, Director of Fundacion Sansó. “Flowers and seascapes are also among the most enduring motifs in Sansó’s oeuvre, linking both artists in their shared fascination with the sea’s boundless horizons and the poetic resonance of blooms.”
How Lines Of Legacy Makes A Change
This exhibition is more than an artistic homage—it’s also a philanthropic endeavor. Proceeds from Lines of Legacy will go directly to supporting Fundacion Sansó’s Fine Arts Students Scholarships and Grants Program, continuing a tradition of using art to uplift and invest in future generations.
This isn’t Montegrande’s first act of support for the foundation. Since his debut solo exhibition, Montegrande has consistently used his art as a vehicle for meaningful impact: raising funds for disaster response, supporting charities, and, notably in 2020, contributing to Fundacion Sansó’s Fine Arts Scholars program. Back in 2021, at the height of the lockdown, he staged a similar benefit show. Now, he returns—reaffirming a shared commitment between two artists who believe in the power of art to serve something greater than themselves.
As such, Lines of Legacy: Kenneth Montegrande in Tribute to Sansó becomes a celebration of continuity; a testament to creativity’s ability to nurture; and a bridge between generations bound by vision, compassion, and a legacy of giving.
