Catherine Zeta-Jones Is The New Cocaine Godmother

Griselda Blanco, the “La Madrina”, “Black Widow”, and notorious drug mule of the 70’s, will come alive once again early next year thanks to a powerful performance by none other than Hollywood A-list celebrity Catherine Zeta-Jones. In the Lifetime-produced Blanco biopic “Cocaine Godmother”, Zeta-Jones will portray the complicated life and times of the woman who took the narcotics world by storm.

Born in Colombia, Griselda Blanco entered the drug business with her husband Alberto Bravo during the mid-70’s. Since then were a string of chaotic events including the likes of gold-plated machine guns, elaborate fashion choices, gangs, violence, and murder. Surprisingly, such themes piqued the interest of a usually wholesome network like Lifetime, urging them to produce the much-anticipated film.

While there is some heated controversy on whether on not Welsh-born Zeta-Jones is really fit to play a Latina personality, one thing is for sure: Catherine Zeta-Jones will most definitely deliver, as per usual.
