MoCAF: The Christmas Edit! Brings Fresh And Fun Artistry To The Holidays

By

The beloved contemporary art fair unveils its first-ever Christmas Edit at Opus Mall, offering a warm, community-centered celebration through curated exhibits, artist showcases, and creative holiday workshops.

This December 2025, the Modern and Contemporary Art Fair (MoCAF) unwraps a special holiday treat for art lovers with its first-ever “Make It MoCAF: The Christmas Edit!” Set within the welcoming space of Opus Mall in Quezon City, The Christmas Edit complements MoCAF’s popular annual flagship fair, positioning itself as its cozier, more intimate, and community-centered counterpart for the season.

“The July edition remains our grand, main festival,” explains MoCAF Festival Director Coleen Wong. “While the Christmas Edition is more festive, relaxed, and community-centered—a smaller but longer 12-day run that’s open to the public and designed for the holiday season.”

With Opus Mall’s premium lifestyle setting as its backdrop, the fair aims to create an environment where visitors can discover artworks, meet artists, and participate in creative activities as they go about their holiday errands. Curated exhibitions from local galleries, select artisans, and hands-on workshops cultivate the passionate craft and connection that define the season.

“It’s a meaningful moment for us to see how they’ve grown, both in their artistic practice and the evolution of their work,” Wong expresses. Behind the scenes, the Christmas Edit comes to life through the collaboration and trust of MoCAF’s partners. Wong adds: “This edition is made possible through the support of Opus Mall and our entire MoCAF community—our partner galleries, artists, collaborators, and friends who continue to believe in what we do.” The steadfast support allows MoCAF to explore new formats and bring contemporary art into everyday spaces where the public naturally gathers.

Wong also emphasized the dedication of the MoCAF team working tirelessly behind the curtain. “Their commitment and dedication are at the heart of every experience we create,” she explains. It’s this collective passion—from artists to partners to organizers—that continues to shape MoCAF’s growth beyond its flagship festival.

For the first time, MoCAF is staging a fair inside a mall in Quezon City, expanding its reach beyond its usual venues in BGC and Makati. The December run also introduces new workshops and activities, including sessions hosted by The Matcha Tokyo and a terrarium-making workshop by Moss Escape, both of which reflect MoCAF’s desire to further explore crafts, hobbies, and accessible creative practices.

Spanning 12 days, MoCAF: The Christmas Edit! invites the public to experience art in the spirit of the holidays: warm, inviting, and woven into the joyful rhythm of the season.

MoCAF Christmas Edit is currently running at Opus Mall until December 14, 2025. Opus Mall is located at Bridgetowne Destination Estate, Bridgetowne Blvd corner C5 Road, Quezon City. For more details, follow @mocafmanila on Instagram and MoCAF on Facebook.
