The production brings together a powerhouse roster of acclaimed West End and Broadway performers.

A Line Up Of World-Renowned Filipino Talent
Carrying on the legacy of Filipino excellence on the world stage are renowned actors Lea Salonga as Madame Thénardier, Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine, Red Concepción as Thénardier, and Emily Bautista as Éponine.
Salonga needs no introduction, especially in the Les Miserablés canon, having famously played both Éponine and Fantine in the musical’s 10th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall and 25th Anniversary concert at the O2, respectively.

Go is also no stranger to Les Miserablés, having assumed the role of Fantine in a West End production of the musical, then reprising the role for the Les Miserablés Arena Tour that celebrated its 40th anniversary.

Meanwhile, Concepción previously played Thénardier in a Les Miserablés production at The Muny, St. Louis Municipal Opera Theatre. His other theatre credits include Amos Hart in Chicago on Broadway and The Engineer in US, UK, and Ireland tours of Miss Saigon. Bautista reprises her role as Éponine, having played the character in the musical’s North American Tour.

Even more Filipinos are set to join the cast after local auditions, which were held in Manila earlier this year. Filipino talent will also be spotlighted through musicians who’ll be performing the powerful Les Miserablés score live on stage. The ensemble includes both local and international players, including Filipino musicians John Gerald Calma, Dino Decena, Mary Anne Espina, Fransisco Llori, Mhaze Lim, Jonathan Livioco, Dondon Lucena, Luke Manuel, Kier Manimtim, Marloe Maruyama, Gabriel Mendoza, Paul Ramons, Col Reyes, Steve Retallick, Raymond Sarreal, Jordan San Jose, and Miko Villena.
“We’re incredibly honored to bring Les Misérables: The World Tour Spectacular to Manila and we’re equally delighted to see Filipino talent represented both on stage and among the musicians,” shares GMG Productions CEO Carlos Candal. “This production is a celebration of world-class artistry, and we’re thrilled for Filipino audiences to experience it.
