Celebrating Heritage
Shangri-La Plaza’s celebration centered around the story of the Wood Snake, an emblem of transformation and renewal. As the Wood Snake sheds its skin to grow, this year is about letting go of the old and embracing the new. In keeping with Shangri-La Plaza’s celebration of life-changing beginnings, this symbolic rebirth encourages visitors to discover prosperity, wellness, and wisdom in 2025.

The event’s story focused on obtaining three vital gifts: wealth, wellness, and wisdom, which reflects the transformational spirit of the Wood Snake year. Activities such as fan painting, ribbon dances, and a Yee Sang prosperity toss brought the three gifts to life.

Moreover, she mentioned how each element in the Chinese Zodiac interacts with each other—giving the audience a better understanding of their fortune and destiny.
