On August 28 at the Manila Peninsula Hotel, media and honored guests gathered for the first anniversary dinner of Casa Luxia. Marking a year of opulent and luxurious tabletop designs, the event highlighted their notable tabletop arrangements throughout the year and the designers they collaborated with for these beautiful creations.
Before the dinner proper, a display of notable table designs were featured which Casa Luxia created in collaboration with notable stylists and designers. The featured designs included those of Badang Rueda, Dave Sandoval, Gary Dacanay, Gideon Hermosa, Jo Claravall, Kaye Garcia, Mike Ruiz, Nikki Chatto, Randy Lazaro, and Teddy Manuel.
The tablescape design and dinnerware provider celebrated with a sleek all-black tablescape setup for the dinner proper with personally labelled marble plate chargers for guests, as is the attention to detail and elegant look that is expected from Casa Luxia. The black tones were accented with floral centerpieces made of black roses and white orchids lit up by miniature candles.
The woman of the night, founder and creative director – Ginger King Villavicencio, welcomed guests over a five-course dinner by Chef Ric Ramos, Executive Sous Chef of The Peninsula Manila. She shared her challenges and doubts in starting her business but never faltering on her eternal penchant for luxurious tablescape design. Expressing her gratitude to those who helped and guided her in her Casa Luxia journey, namely her husband, family, and God. She was then joined on stage by the many collaborators they’ve had over their first year sharing the same eye for elegant and luxury event design and styling.
“It’s all attention to detail. We make sure every single detail is covered to bring out the best, exquisite look and feel a table setting could give.”
