These local celebrities have turned into global style icons while attending shows by international fashion brands.
As usual, queen of fashion Heart Evangelista has already made her way to several events, including the Fendi, Tod’s, Roberto Cavalli, and Prada shows.
“Dressed like the invite said, ‘Dress to impress,’” she then wrote in her post about the Prada runway show.
Meanwhile, former Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach made her Milan Fashion Week comeback by attending the Prada, Max Mara, Fendi, Boss, and Brunello Cucinelli events.
She was also present at Vogue Italia’s 60th anniversary celebration wearing Fendi Couture and accessories from Bulgari.
Anne Curtis has also touched down in Milan to attend the Gucci fashion show. The TV host and actress dressed head to toe in Gucci, including her luxurious luggage.
Last year, Curtis made her Fashion Week debut in Paris when she was invited to Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2024 show alongside Evangelista.
More Asian Celebrities Take Over Fashion Week
Aside from Filipino celebrities, more and more Asian stars are also attending Fashion Weeks. Many of them have been appointed as brand ambassadors by the most popular luxury labels.
At the Prada show, K-pop idols Karina from Aespa, Jaehyun from NCT, and the Enhypen members all represented the brand. Thai stars Win Metawin and Toey Jarinporn, Chinese actor Li Xian, and Japanese actress Mei Nagano also attended Prada’s events.
For the Fendi show, actress and brand ambassador Song Hye Kyo, Chinese star Tang Yan, as well as Japanese actress and model Haruna Kawaguchi were all in attendance.
Meanwhile, BTS’ Jin, who recently finished his military service, was the most searched and mentioned celebrity related to Milan Fashion Week. He’ll be attending the Gucci fashion show as the brand’s global brand ambassador.
NewJeans’ Hanni and Thai actor and model Gulf will also be returning to the front row of Gucci’s event.
