The sisters are vocal about supporting the children and families affected by the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
Supermodel sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid are collectively donating $1 million to support relief efforts in Palestine.
According to Bella’s representative, the funds will be equally distributed between four humanitarian organizations.

These organizations are HEAL Palestine, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund (PCRF), World Central Kitchen (WCK), and United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).
All four are focused on supporting displaced families through humanitarian aid like food and medical programs, as well as psychological services.
Making a statement
The cause is deeply significant to both sisters, as their father, Mohamed Anwar Hadid, was a Nakba survivor. The sisters’ grandparents were never able to return to their home in Palestine, according to Bella.
During her trip to the Cannes Film Festival, Bella made use of her large platform to show her Palestinian pride. In her Instagram post, she’s wearing a red and white dress made of their traditional fabric.
“Palestine on my mind, in my blood and on my heart. Always,” she wrote in the caption. “While I still have to go to work, even through this horror, to wear our culture makes me a proud Palestinian & I want the world to continue to see Palestine, wherever we go.”
The Kiffiyeh dress was made by Michael & Hushi in 2001. “A beautiful way to represent the history, labor of love, resilience and, most importantly, the art of historic Palestinian embroidery,” Bella continued.
Gigi has also posted on Instagram, saying “I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it’s a responsibility I hold daily.
“I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before. While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person.”
