Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Enamel Dragon
Renowned watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with the release of its Reverso Tribute Enamel Dragon piece. Like the brand’s other Reverso models, this special edition watch is a fine example of precise and unparalleled craftsmanship. Master engravers and enamellers from the Métiers Rares™ atelier spent 80 hours engraving a majestic Dragon design unlike any other.
The watch boasts an opaque black Grand Feu enamel as the case-back. Its reversible pink gold metal case features a meticulously-designed engraving of a dragon. Master craftspeople used “modelled engraving” to create its reptilian image. The technique requires extreme focus, as artisans use 10 differently sized chisels to sculpt metal.
Like how one can see the brushstrokes of a master painter, wearers of this limited edition piece can truly feel the impressive details of the reptilian motif. From the creature’s defined scales to the sandblasted texture of the clouds that surrounds it, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s latest Lunar New Year piece is sure to be a distinguished addition to any outfit.
Saint Louis “The Golden Dragon 2024”
Saint Louis is the sole crystal manufacturer that still produces paperweights. To this day, it proudly maintains its craft through stunning pieces fit for a stately desk. Whether one is a dedicated collector of the brand’s works or simply an appreciator of the finer things in life, its “The Golden Dragon 2024” paperweight is a wonderful piece for any crystal collection.
Pierre Charpin designed the new paperweight. Meanwhile, two glassmakers—a Meilleurs Ouvriers de France and a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres—spend hours carefully crafting it. Indeed, the Golden Dragon 2024 showcases many of the atelier’s famous techniques, such as millefiori, sulphide inclusion, and overlay.
The paperweight features a colorful, golden dragon at its center. A multi-colored shell of sky and clouds encases the creature, who waits at the center to bestow good fortune upon its bearer this 2024.
Baccarat Zodiaque Dragon 2024 XL
Baccarat has created a sparkling sculpture that truly captures the mystic and mythical spirit of the dragon. The leading maker of fine crystals continues its legacy of excellence with its latest Zodiac Collection for 2024.
The selection is composed of glittering crystal statues of the imperial beast. Its crown jewel is the Zodiaque Dragon 2024 XL. The statue truly embodies the grandeur of the towering dragon: it’s an impressive 10.63 inches tall, 6.30 inches wide, and 18.90 inches long. Designed by Allison Hawkes, the crystal beast required unique molds for each of its 50 components.
The level of skill that the piece necessitates can be seen through its balanced proportions and admirable details. These include the dragon’s flowing mane and the way its body reflects the light around it. Interested buyers can even personalize the statue with custom ornamentation by artist Michael Cailloux. This yields an utterly one-of-a-kind talisman of benevolence, power, luck, and nobility for their home.
