The set includes Simon Porte Jacquemus’ interpretation of the Humara, his favorite Nike shoe.
Nike and Jacquemus’ collaboration, which was nearly three years in the making, is launching on June 28.
Simon Porte Jacquemus, the founder and creative director of his eponymous label, is the sports brand’s latest female-focused collaborative partner. Together, they aim to celebrate the multifaceted lifestyles of contemporary athletes.

“For this collaboration with Nike, I wanted to create a collection that reinterprets athletic women’s sportswear in a minimal way,” Simon Porte says in the press release.
New interpretations
“I have always been inspired by vintage ACG (All Conditions Gear) pieces and Nike campaigns from the ’90s. Having this imagery in mind, we designed women’s athletic wear with sensuous details and neutral colors and my own interpretation of the Humara, my favorite Nike shoe.”
He adds that another goal was to cater to “all bodies” and merge Nike’s performance technology with Jacquemus’s highly wearable modernist style.
The Paris-based designer took inspiration in his design process where outdoor and court sports meet in the middle. As a result, the coming apparel and footwear collections interweave Nike mainstay designs with pieces for everyday life.
Expanding sport culture
“When we collaborate at Nike, it’s always a 50-50 union where each partner comes together to advance the other forward in ways that couldn’t have been done alone,” says Jarrett Reynolds, Nike VP of Catalyst Apparel Design.
In the past, the 58-year-old brand has partnered with Comme de Garcons, Off-white, Supreme, Sacaim, and A Ma Maniere.
“Collaboration at Nike, and with partners like Jacquemus, allows us to expand the culture of sport and redefine it for the next generation,” Reynolds adds.
For now, the Nike x Jacquemus campaign has only released a short teaser video on social media platforms. The 15-piece collection will launch on June 28 exclusively on jacquemus.com and across Nike retail globally.
