The heavy rains didn’t keep the guests of Her Excellency Ambassador Andrea Reichlin from honoring her invitation to dinner at the residence. It was a pre-New Year celebration with Swiss wines, champagne and flavors of Switzerland served to members of the diplomatic corp and business leaders. Between cocktails and the lavish dinner spread, Johnny Litton conducted an auction that would benefit the Aid Line Philippine Swiss (ALPS) Foundation. Paddles were raised for bids on premium items donated by Saccha Cotture, Hans Brumann, Leica, Lucerne, Komodo and Henry & Sons. It was a downpour of generosity in support of humanitarian assistance that not even the weather could dampen.
