Chef Rhea SyCip brings an array of comforting dishes and pastries to BGC, celebrating local produce, sustainable sourcing, and the warmth of home through food made with care.
Born from the passion and vision of Chef Rhea SyCip, premium café bakery Flour Pot Bistro & Bakery has officially opened its doors in the heart of BGC. Envisioned as a cozy, easygoing destination for shared moments, Flour Pot centers on food made to be enjoyed together.

The premium café bakery serves both classic and contemporary dishes, as well as delectable confections. Rooted in SyCip’s dedication to genuine artistry, the new concept reflects her deeply personal and refreshingly honest philosophy: that the best food carries a comforting, homemade feeling, made with heartfelt intention while being deeply connected to the people and places that inspire it. Every pastry, loaf of bread, cake, and dish at Flour Pot represents this ethos, offering flavors and textures that delight, as well as stories that feel both familiar and thoughtfully elevated.

Grown And Nurtured From The Ground Up
With a respect for local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, Flour Pot shows how food is defined not by complexity, but by the human effort behind it. SyCip prioritizes ethical sources from small-scale producers, focusing on the inherent quality of exceptional ingredients, long-standing relationships with local farmers and artisans, and refined techniques that enhance natural flavors.

Whenever possible, Flour Pot incorporates locally sourced fruits and seasonal produce, aiming to spotlight the richness of Philippine agriculture while minimizing waste and strengthening its network of farmers and makers who play an essential—yet often unseen—role in the food industry. Through this concept, SyCip hopes to prove that sustainability doesn’t require grand gestures, but rather, small, consistent choices. Whether it’s a cake made with local cacao, a pastry featuring fruit from a nearby province, or a dish that celebrates a local producer’s work, each choice carries real and meaningful impact.
“Our food tells the stories of the farmers who grow it. Supporting them by sourcing locally is one of the most meaningful parts of what we do at Flour Pot,” SyCip shares.
Revamping The Bakery Experience
Stepping into Flour Pot Bistro & Bakery feels like entering a home—one with subtle nods to the Filipino bakery culture many grew up with. The interiors feature pastel tones, nostalgic accents, and inviting details, all refreshed with a contemporary sensibility that complements Bonifacio Global City’s cosmopolitan setting.

Among its signature offerings are specialty cakes and pastries like the Carrot & Bourbon, a moist carrot and pili cake layered with burnt butter and bourbon-kissed cream cheese frosting; Chocolate Expressions, a decadent showcase of single-origin local cacao in layers of cake, meringue, mousse, ganache, and buttercream; and Strawberry Brioche Donuts, soft and airy pastries filled with a bright burst of strawberry.

For savory fare, Flour Pot serves hearty dishes like the Lambsagne, featuring slow-roasted lamb shoulder layered with creamy béchamel and lasagna; River Prawns and Ikura Pasta, an enriching bowl of miso-butter–tossed prawns with edamame and ikura; and the Roast Chicken Curry, made with tender organic roast chicken, signature curry sauce, and sweet lychee for a gently uplifting finish.
Flour Pot is the kind of place people can’t help but return to; every visit is a potent reminder that good food, made with care, always welcomes you back.
