Chef Rhea Rizzo’s new à la carte space features a “mishmash” menu with an emphasis on comfort and spontaneity.
For years, Chef Rhea Rizzo’s Mrs. Saldo’s has stood as a refined dining spot in Silang, Cavite. It’s a world built on the concept of saldo, Spanish for balance, with precise techniques and structured, narrative-driven tasting menus. But even the most disciplined chefs need to let their hair down. Enter Little Miss Saldo’s, a cheeky offshoot that trades the rigor of the tasting menu for the sheer delight of freeform comfort food.

The new à la carte concept offers a playful and unrestricted approach to Chef Rhea’s focus on personal expression, emotional connection, and uncompromised quality in dining.
“It’s a format that’s like contemporary dance,” Chef Rhea shares in a statement. “Free from the rigidity of classical ballet. Not as square or like a box, but still as beautiful in its freeform.”

Where The Food Is A Glorious Mishmash, But Never A Mismatch
The menu at Little Miss Saldo’s is a “mishmash,” as its chef describes: a gorgeous collision of French, New American, and Asian influences. “This was the outcome of wanting something that felt free, but still grounded in the food I love,” Chef Rhea explains.
The premise is beautifully simple: comfort food without limits. The all-day breakfast menu features Steak Tapa and Eggs with Atchara Hollandaise; Truffle Eggs Benedict; and Breakfast Churros with Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Ganache. This is a kitchen that’s clearly trying to have a good time, with the diner in on the fun.

For the mains, diners can expect standout dishes like Duck Confit with Potato Dauphinoise and Orange Demi; Lamb Ribs with Mussaman Curry; Mahi Mahi with Cauliflower Puree and Pilpil Sauce; and Halibut with Chee Choo Curry.

A Closer Look Inside Little Miss Saldo’s
Capable of seating approximately 36 guests, Little Miss Saldo’s space mirrors its ethos of simple comfort and artful dynamism. Inspired by the aesthetics of Napa, Sonoma, and the Hudson Valley, it’s earthy, artisanal, and unpretentious without sacrificing style. You’ll visit (and return) for the food, yes, but you’ll also stay because everything about it just feels like home.

Chef Rhea’s newest venture isn’t so much a place, but a canvas of emotion that refuses to be defined as one thing—and if the plan is to keep the country’s dining scene alive through the thrill of possibility, then mission accomplished.
Little Miss Saldo’s is located at Lot 5664 Barangay Malabag, Silang, Cavite. It’s open from Wednesday to Sunday, 11 AM to 9 PM. For reservations, please call 63 917 100 2983 or send an email to [email protected].
