Ranked from 51 to 100, with 16 new entries, the extended list sets the stage for its live announcement on October 8, 2025.
With just two weeks to go before the unveiling of The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025, sponsored by Perrier, the highly anticipated ranking of bars placed No. 51–100 has been announced. Now in its ninth year, this extended list is compiled from the votes of more than 800 industry experts, including world-renowned bartenders, educators, cocktail specialists, and award-winning drinks writers.

Now in its 17th edition, The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025 returns to Asia, uniting the global drinks community in Hong Kong to celebrate the world’s finest cocktail experiences. Honoring the creativity, passion, and achievements of outstanding bartenders and bar teams, 50 Best not only spotlights the very best through its main ranking, but also broadens its recognition with the release of its 51–100 list: shining a light on even more remarkable bars and destinations across the globe.

The List At A Glance
The 51–100 list showcases bars from 34 cities worldwide, with 16 exciting new entries hailing from destinations such as Bangkok, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Florence, London, Medellín, and New Delhi.
The US once again leads the extended ranking, with eight bars across Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and San Francisco. Europe makes a strong showing with 15 bars in total, including four each from Spain and Italy, while Asia is represented by 12 bars, three of which are located in Hong Kong. Notably, Medellín’s (Colombia) Mamba Negra and Bar Carmen, along with Vender in Taichung (Taiwan), mark the first-ever appearances from their respective cities.

The US Tops The 51–100 List For Third Consecutive Year
Among the 20 bars from the Americas, the US leads once again with eight entries. New York claims four spots: new entry Schmuck (No.59), Attaboy (No.72, up 12 places), Martiny’s (No.75), and Employees Only (No.95). Elsewhere, True Laurel in San Francisco (No.64) and Mírate in Los Angeles (No.93) make their debut, Kumiko in Chicago returns at No.97, and Miami’s Café La Trova ranks No.82.
Mexico follows with five bars: Licorería Limantour in Mexico City (No.52), new entry Bar Mauro (No.54), Baltra Bar (No.78), Guadalajara’s El Gallo Altanero (No.71), and Tulum’s Arca (No.77). Toronto’s Bar Pompette rises 15 places to No.55, while Latin America is led by new entry Exímia in São Paulo (No.61). Medellín makes its debut with Mamba Negra (No.81) and Bar Carmen (No.100), while Bogotá’s La Sala de Laura is at No.68. In Buenos Aires, Victor Audio Bar enters at No.87 and Florería Atlántico returns at No.90.
Europe Leads With 15 Bars
Spain and Italy each claim four spots. In Spain, Madrid’s Angelita (No.51) joins Barcelona’s Dr. Stravinsky (No.83), Boadas (No.85), and newcomer Foco (No.89). Italy’s entries are Freni e Frizioni in Rome (No.58), Jerry Thomas Speakeasy (No.98), L’Antiquario in Naples (No.63), and new entry Gucci Giardino in Florence (No.99). London contributes three: A Bar with Shapes For a Name (No.73), Kwãnt Mayfair (No.79), and new entry Three Sheets Soho (No.80). Completing the continent’s showing are Wax On in Berlin (No.57), Barro Negro in Athens (No.62), Bird in Copenhagen (No.66), and Stockholm’s Tjoget (No.76).

Hong Kong Leads Asia For The First Time Since 2019
With three entries—Argo (No.56), newcomer Gokan (No.70), and The Savory Project (No.86)—Hong Kong overtakes Singapore as Asia’s leader. Japan and Thailand follow with two bars each: Tokyo’s The SG Club (No.65) and Bar Trench (No.94), alongside Bangkok newcomers Dry Wave Cocktail Studio (No.88) and Opium (No.92). Elsewhere, Seoul’s Bar Cham ranks No.53, Sri Lanka’s Smoke & Bitters climbs 19 places to No.67, and Taichung makes its debut with Vender (No.74). New Delhi enters with Lair (No.96), while Singapore’s Native places at No.84.


Africa And The Middle East On The Rise
Hero Bar in Nairobi appears at No.69, while LPM Dubai climbs 16 places to No.60.
