Enjoy a special limited-time anniversary menu of tea-infused culinary delights from November 14 to 25 at all TWG Tea Salons & Boutiques.
This month, TWG Tea celebrates its sixth year of doing business in the Philippines. The premium brand from Singapore has been continually expanding its operations here from the time it opened its first TWG store at Greenbelt 5, back in 2012. Since then, it has grown its following of tea aficionados as many have come to appreciate not just their unique tea flavors, but also the healthy properties of tea. To commemorate the occasion, a special Anniversary Menu was formally launched at the 1837 TWG Tea Salon & Boutique in BGC. The à la carte menu features both savory and sweet dishes that highlight both the subtle nuances and bold accents in flavor that tea infusion brings to food. Wonderfully paired with the carefully selected tea choices from the store’s rotating collection of hundreds of tea variants, guests were treated to a truly unique sampling of tea gastronomy.

Amid the boutique’s charming wooden interiors, a sit-down lunch was served by TWG’s tea-savvy staff, who were at the ready to recommend which teas were best served hot or iced, as well as explain the flavor profiles of each variant. Lifestyle Asia was among members of the press who enjoyed the splendid feast that began with a starter of Soft Shell Crab Salad infused with Tokyo Singapore Tea, a choice of mains followed, featuring a decadent dish of duck breast and foie gras with apricot chutney infused with Alfonso Tea, a delicately poached cod with a pour-over of Black Nectar Tea-infused broth, a hearty lamb shank tenderly braised in Riviera Tea and a delicious seafood pasta featuring squid-ink noodles topped with succulent scallops, mussels and prawns, drizzled with Matcha oil.
And for dessert, have a cup of TWG’s Anniversary Tea, with hints of exotic fruits and Tahitian Spice while having the specially concocted Apple Surprise, a refreshing green apple mousse layered with Vanilla Bourbon Tea-infused custard and a mango coulis heart and Chocolate Kahlua with Truffle, dark chocolate Kahlua syrup on coffee panna cotta topped with Chocolate Tea-infused truffle.
