Double Birthdays: Two Joint Celebrations, Twice The Fun

Two of Manila’s well liked society darlings celebrated their birthdays together in some of the Metro’s poshest venues—not just once, but twice.

This is an excerpt from Lifestyle Asia’s May 2023 Issue.

Double the fun, double the festivities for Allana Montelibano and Jerianne Ejercito as they invited their lovely guests to their celebration.

The first party was held at the Mansion at Legazpi Village. The high end bar and restaurant serves continental cuisine with a lounge, sports and bar entertainment areas, and even a billiards bar. The dinner was at the private room of the Mansion, then proceeded to the lounge for dancing and music.

Guests feasted on Grilled Tiger Shrimp shaved salad, Gochujang Bao with mushrooms and tofu, four-cheese baked macaroni, their signature Roasted chicken, and the Bavette Steak with frites. For dessert, Biscoff Cheesecake and chocolate banana mousse were served.

Part deux of their birthdays happened at Txoko Asador, a multi awarded restaurant in Makati. Hendrick’s Gin, Patron, Macallan, and overflowing wines put everyone in a jovial mood. It was also Jed Fernandez’s welcome back to Manila celebration.

All the guests were raving about the variety of dishes that were served. For starters, there was Charcuteria, a mixed charcuterie of meats and cheese. There was Pan Con Tomate, a bread pillow with tomato foam, Serrano ham with Iberico oil. Boquerones on black bread with anchovies, olives, Patatas Bravas of thinly sliced fried potatoes topped with salsa brava and Aiolo that looked more like a French patisserie than a savory appetizer.
