Iza Calzado and Ben Wintle’s daughter, Deia, enters the Christian world with a double baptism celebration alongside cousin Sadie Harlow Wintle.
Deia Amihan is the adorable daughter of the talented actress Iza Calzado and businessman Ben Wintle. She officially stepped into the Christian world with a double dose of joy!
Last Saturday marked the day of her baptism. It was celebrated alongside the charming Sadie Harlow Wintle, daughter of Iza’s sister-in-law, Bianca King.
The heartwarming ceremony took place at the St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Makati, officiated by Fr. Tito Caluag.
The brothers, Ben and Ralph Wintle, stood proudly with their wives, Iza and Bianca. They witnessed this precious milestone in their children’s lives.
The guest list was a delightful mix of close friends and family. It included former Vice President Leni Robredo, Cheska Garcia-Kramer, Nix Alañon, Rhian Ramos, Teresa Herrera, Katrina Holigores, and Lifestyle Asia Editor-in-Chief Candy Dizon, among others.
The atmosphere was filled with love and excitement as the families and guests gathered to celebrate the baptism of Deia and Sadie.
The joyous occasion was documented by Calzado’s manager, Noel Ferrer. He shared glimpses of the event on his Instagram, capturing the heartfelt moments.
Renowned designer Rajo Laurel added an extra touch of elegance to the celebration by crafting exquisite baptism gowns for Deia and Sadie.

Mother’s Love Shines
In the face of adversity, Calzado shared a touching revelation on her Instagram.
Just weeks before the scheduled baptism, little Deia tested positive for Dengue.
However, the resilient baby amazed everyone with her strength, bouncing back from illness as they welcomed the New Year.
Iza, in an inspiring message, chose to focus on Deia’s remarkable journey, highlighting her first steps taken on January 1st, symbolizing strength, skill-building, and confidence, step by step.
With Deia and Sadie born only weeks apart in January and March 2023, their shared baptism marked a spiritual milestone. It also solidified the bond between families and friends.
The day served as a testament to love, family, and the beauty of welcoming new beginnings with open hearts.
