Reynolds brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
Having previously overseen Shangri-La flagship properties in Surabaya, Indonesia for four years, followed by two years in Malaysia, Reynolds joined the Manila hotel in the third quarter of 2022.
Throughout his career, Reynolds has honed his managerial skills and developed a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, making him well-suited to lead the team at EDSA Shangri-La Hotel.
In an interview with Lifestyle Asia, Reynolds displayed his innate hospitality and warmth, exemplifying the qualities that define his approach to guest service.
Whether it was greeting people, courteously opening and closing doors, or graciously giving way to passengers in the elevator, Reynolds demonstrated his commitment to making every interaction a positive and memorable one.
Dawn of Excellence
Born into a British family with a rich culinary background, Reynolds was immersed in this epicurean realm at an early age.
His journey into this field can be traced back to his upbringing, where he was exposed to the world of hospitality through his grandmother and mother, both exceptional cooks.
Surrounded by a love for food and a passion for creating enjoyable experiences, Reynolds developed an early affinity for the industry.
Travel also played a significant role in shaping Reynolds’ career aspirations.
Exploring different places in Europe during his summers with his father, he became captivated by the idea of combining his love for travel with his profession.
This passion led him to choose a work placement in a hotel kitchen during his high school years, which served as a catalyst for his future endeavors in the hospitality industry.
