Los Cantantes de Manila performed five songs at the Lifestyle Asia Gala 2023, leaving guests in awe as their voices echoed through the lakeside hall.
Manila-based community choir Los Cantantes de Manila came to Lakehall at Nena’s Sanctuary to serenade guests who attended the Lifestyle Asia Gala 2023.
The magazine held its much-anticipated gala on the eve of November 25 at a splendid lakeside event hall. Guests mingled and dined together in what turned out to be a night to remember.

Los Cantantes share the same passion
Pador said in an interview with Lifestyle Asia that the ensemble performs together because they share the same passion. “We share the same commitment and responsibility,” Pador added. Los Cantantes de Manila started singing together in 2014 according to Pador.
Four songs and an endearing encore
Los Cantantes de Manila performed four beguiling masterpieces, enchanting esteemed guests during the program’s five-course dinner.

The group sang “Circle of Life,” “Imagine,” “How Far I’ll Go,” and “When You Believe.” They performed their surprise finale “A Million Dreams” with singers positioned on the floor amidst the audience, filling the lakeside hall with beautiful rhythm and vocals.

Overcoming challenges
Pador said that singing for the gala was not a walk in the park due to the members’ individual busy schedules.
“The challenging part was that we had to rehearse when we’re complete,” he explained. “Most of us had conflicts with schedules but we managed to make it work.”
The choir president stated that they don’t normally perform theatrical songs but the gala was a good avenue to start doing so.
Los Cantantes’ performance became the cherry on top of what was already a remarkable celebration. Their heavenly voices delighted the guests as it was the perfect accompaniment to a sumptuous supper and a fitting end to a meaningful evening.
