Fashion merged with visual art at the Mayuree Ballroom at Dusit Thani, the setting of one of the most anticipated collaborations in fashion and art to date. Mark Bumgarner and Love Marie Escudero showcased fashion forward designs with bold art pieces single handedly painted by Escudero. The show in itself was a visual spectacle of intricate artwork meticulously painted on the clothes that resulted in an inspiring and breathtaking collection of various themes and inspirations. The runway was starstudded as Bumgarner’s muses Julia Barretto, Lovi Poe, Maggie Wilson-Consunji, Gabbi Garcia, Bianca Valerio, Hillarie Parungao and Ariella Arida sashayed down the runway revealing each uniquely crafted piece.
Two of the Mark Bumgarner x Love Marie creations were silently auctioned at the end of the show where proceeds will go to the Corridor of Hope Foundation and Thalassemia International Association.
