Heading to the Philippines next month, the store will also feature exclusive merchandise, never-before-seen portraits, on-site events, and more.
While all members of BTS are currently undergoing their mandatory military service, their label Big Hit Music announced a pop-up store titled “Monochrome.”
According to JoongAng Daily, the store’s theme revolves around “memory clouds,” or “clouds containing memories of the time that BTS and ARMY (their fans) spent together. These memory clouds are stored inside bottles.”

The store will first open in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong neighborhood on April 26 and will also open in Tokyo, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Los Angeles. From May 24 to June 30, Monochrome will be located at level 2, South Wing, Entertainment Mall of SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
Big Hit Music also released a concept film and photos of the merchandise. True to the pop-up’s title, all items are in black and white and are very minimalist in design. There are a couple of pieces of apparel, jewelry, bags, and more.
Fans can find more information about the pop-up store at the MNCR (Monochrome) Logistics website. Designed to look like a package tracking site, visitors can complete challenges to unlock their own memory cloud.
Previously, BTS has had a couple of other pop-ups including House of BTS, Map of the Soul, and Space of BTS. In October last year, their exhibit titled “Seven Phases,” in collaboration with James Jean, was also brought to the Philippines.
The full group is likely to reunite by 2025, after all members complete their military service. Jin, the first member who enlisted, will finish his service in June this year. The group will also be celebrating its 11th anniversary in the same month.
