Three thoughtful daughters reveal their Father’s Day gifts and dedicated messages of love for them.
Every third Sunday of June, we honor the men who have shaped our lives with guidance and unwavering support, and raised us with resilience and determination. This month, three affectionate daughters, Tinay V. Syjuco, Corrine Limsin and Juliette Hoschka, reveal their Father’s Day gift choices for their dads, which serve as touching tributes to their sacrifices and enduring love.
Their presents also reflect the deep gratitude and admiration they hold for the patience and guidance their fathers have provided throughout their lives.

What Father’s Day gift will you give your dad?
Visual artist Tinay V. Syjuco chronicled that she will be preparing her dad, Oca, a special meal with their family. “My dad is not big on gifts [which applies to] any occasion, so we’ll prepare him a special lunch or dinner instead.”
Corrine Limsin, who spearheads activewear brand Common Mode, answered that her Father’s Day gift for her dad, Ronald, is a brownie cake. “My dad often asks me if I baked any dessert lately,” she mused. “I plan to make a brownie cake this coming Father’s Day, so we can also enjoy it together as a family.”
Juliette Hoschka, daughter of Janina Dizon and Tobias Hoschka, said she will give her dad a custom-created phone case. “It’s a small token of appreciation for everything he does,” Juliette commented.
Any favorites from past presents you gave them?
Tinay explained that Oca’s favorite gift that she gave was a book, but it wasn’t specifically given on Father’s Day. “It’s called ‘Van Gogh and God’ which I got for him from one of my travels. He appreciated it a lot.”
Corrine mentioned she and her sister, Francine, were no bearers of any Michelin stars, but their home cooked steak always stood out for Ronald. “Of course this doesn’t fall far from his gift this year. He was gleeful when my sister and I cooked steak for him. Best believe he knew we had seasoned our dish with love.”
Meanwhile, Juliette divulged that a handmade photo album she once made for Tobias became an instant favorite of his. “[It was] filled with our family memories. He still looks through it often.”
A message to your dad for Father’s Day?
Tinay wants her dad to know that she is his biggest fan. “You are my idol, period. I might be, as you’d say, your worst art critic. But I’d like you to know that I am so proud of you.”
Corrine thanked her father for taking them on countless adventures and setting a good example to their family. “Thank you for showing me what it truly means to be selfless. I will forever be grateful to have you as a role model because your actions speak volumes about your love for us. I can only hope to be half the person you are one day. Happy Father’s Day, I love you.”
Tobias has a habit of making his children feel understood and safe, which Juliette respects and acknowledges. “Our inside jokes and the fun we have together are truly special to me. I love sharing those moments with others because they highlight just how rare and wonderful our bond is. Bringing the humor we share into other parts of my relationships feels like spreading a little bit of our special connection to others. Your kindness, understanding, and affection are the greatest gifts. I feel incredibly lucky to have you as my father.”
