Luxury Watch Brand Bridges The Past, Present, And Future Of Art

Rolex is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative and its commitment to the arts worldwide over the years. The celebration of creative exchange was held at the Rolex Art Festival. The celebration is for the Rolex Perpetual Arts Initiative, where the brand confirms its long-term commitment to global culture.

The watch brand nurtures young talents in the extensive creative field. The mentoring program expands through art, music, architecture, and cinema. More than 60 mentors and protégés were present during the Rolex Art Festival to showcase the creative exchange that was made possible through the initiative.The initiative encompasses a distinctive and unique vision of mentoring – generous and global – that plays a tangible role in promoting excellence and the future of the arts.

“To bring the public just some of the wealth of multidisciplinary achievements that have been fostered by the Rolex mentoring program, we issued an open call to all Rolex fellows to participate by presenting works,” said Rebecca Irvin, head of the mentoring program at Rolex. The mentorship program created a dialogue between artists of two different generations—creating a link between the past, present, and future.
