One of Manila’s most gracious hosts Grace Baja hosted a dinner at her home to kick off a series of pocket birthday celebrations. The intimate affair was filled with laughter as guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner meticulously prepared by Grace who decorated her dining room with candles and Ecuadorian Roses.
The dinner began with a shot of Truffle Mushroom soup cooked by Grace. Then the guests were ushered to the kitchen where Crab Fat Paella, Apple and Sausage Roast Peppered Turkey, Stuffed Squid, Spicy Slab of Oven Roasted Pork Belly and Chicken in Olive Oil and Garlic were served on top of the kitchen table. Delectable treats from Norway where the Baja family recently traveled to, were served to the delight of the guests. It was husband Lauro who pulled off the surprise of the evening, bringing out the birthday cake which the cue for everyone to sing the Happy Birthday song.
