Our Miss Universe 2015 is now Missus Jauncey!
Pia Wurtzbach surprised everyone with her Instagram post on Friday when she shared a video showing glimpses of her intimate wedding with her longtime boyfriend, Jeremy Jauncey.
The couple was engaged in May of last year and the two have been inseparable ever since, posting cute photos and videos of their travels.
Jauncey is Wurtzbach’s boyfriend of three years and is the CEO and founder of Beautiful Destinations, an award-winning creative agency catering to travel brands.
According to the post made by the beauty queen, the couple tied the knot last March 24 and exchanged vows at North Island in Seychelles.
“Mr. and Mrs. Jauncey,” Wurtzbach said. The model-slash-beauty queen can be seen wearing an elegant wedding gown together with Jeremy in his white polo. The video is filled with overflowing love and sweetness from the couple.
Last June 2022, the couple’s decision to have an intimate wedding was hinted at when Wurtzbach was asked by a fan about her wedding plans. The 33-year-old model said “Absolutely no plans yet,” Wurtzbach also added, “But for sure I want a really private and intimate wedding. Enough of my life is on social media and there are things I wanna keep to myself.”
Some of the couple’s closest friends commented on the post and showed their love for the newlyweds.
“Aw congrats !! Wishing you guys a lifetime of happiness together!!,” fellow Miss Universe Catriona Gray wrote.
“Congratulations Mr and Mrs Jauncey!!!” actress Anne Curtis commented.
“Can’t escape us now! Hahaha let the new chapter begin! GIVE ME SOME NEPHEWS/NIECES @piawurtzbach @jeremyjauncey,” a comment from Wurtzbach’s sister Sarah Wurtzbach.
