Japanese food has long been a favorite to many Filipinos looking for some fresh sushi and tasty grilled meats. Thankfully, for those living down South, there’s a new spot to try that also has some quality yakiniku. The Bellevue Manila has made a new upgrade with their in-house Japanese restaurant. Homare, meaning “glory, honor, and reputation,” opened its doors last July 30 to welcome honored guests for a preview of their Japanese specialties and grilled fare.

The zen-inspired restaurant boasts sleek modern interiors with a sprinkling of traditional design to bring together Homare’s modern aesthetic while preserving traditional flavor and qualities. As is expected from its homebase in the five-star hotel.

The spacious newcomer can comfortably fit over 100 guests with two private rooms making Homare a prime spot for events and business meetings.

While its interiors are a reflection of Homare’s elevated meaning, its real definition shines in its menu. Its vast menu has every Japanese dish you can think of. From Teishoku and Gozen set meals to healthy hot pots, their menu is an abundance of standard favorites to fusion must-trys.
