The two are among the eight crew members who will accompany him on one of Elon Musk’s SpaceX rockets.
The Japanese billionaire announced his picks on social media as well as the #dearMoon Project website.
He previously bought every seat on the maiden lunar trip. This will allow him and his crew to become the first passengers on the SpaceX moon flyby.
“I feel great pride and responsibility in becoming the first Korean civilian going to the moon,” TOP said.
Initially scheduled for 2023, Maezawa’s flight faces delays due to the spacecraft’s ongoing testing.
