Blackpink's Jennie Collaborates For A Limited-Edition Capsule Collection

Jennie of Blackpink collaborates with a brand she is a global ambassador for to create a limited-edition capsule collection.

Following her band’s successful Coachella performance, Blackpink Jennie gave a sneak peek of her limited-edition capsule collection in collaboration with Calvin Klein. Aside from being a global pop star, Jennie is also the face of multiple brands, Calvin Klein being one of them. Jennie started working with the brand in 2021 as a global brand ambassador.

The collection features casual underwear sets, denim, t-shirts, and knitwear. The capsule collection is said to be inspired by the singer’s wardrobe. Purposefully creating and curating carefree styles yet carrying the classic Calvin Klein aesthetic. The collection also features jogger pants and other loungewear essentials.

 The brand describes the collection as “Minimal silhouettes with a relaxed attitude. In a dreamy color palette curated,” as an Instagram caption says. The collection takes inspiration from Jennie’s usual pastel hues. The collaboration parades the colors lilac, chalk blue, and desert, alongside classic black and white. For a personal touch, the garments in the collection include a custom branding—Jennie’s handwritten logo of Calvin Klein.

Exciting Collaboration

 “This collection reflects my everyday style and is based on many of the Calvin Klein essentials that have become staples in my wardrobe. I wanted to bring a personal touch to these pieces, which you’ll see reflected in the fit, the color palette, and the details. My aspiration for this collection is that everyone will feel as happy and confident in these pieces as I do,” Jennie says.

The brand is also excited about the collection knowing that the pop star has a huge worldwide following. “Having worked with Jennie on several campaigns, we know firsthand that she is a cultural powerhouse. Her persona, talent, and distinctive style have a major global impact,” said Jonathan Bottomley, global chief marketing officer, at Calvin Klein.

Jennie for Calvin Klein would be released and available in select Calvin Klein stores and on calvinklein.com globally beginning May 10th.
