The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry unveils its newly rebranded event, Le French Gala, where the French-Filipino relations are celebrated.
In celebration of the cultural ties between France and the Philippines, The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines (CCI) launches Le French Gala 2024. The newly rebranded annual event is a way for CCI to highlight the good relationship between both countries. Furthermore, the Le French Gala is also a way to celebrate the notable efforts of organizations in sustainability and nation-building.

French Festivities
The event opened with a speech by CCI France Philippines President Jacques Christophe Branellec emphasizing the importance of the two countries’ foreign relations and collaboration. Moreover, French Ambassador Marie Fontanel delighted guests by singing a lovely French song with Philippe Gauthier.

Premium wine and spirits were served as guests enjoyed amazing food prepared by top chefs at Shangri-La The Fort. The culinary delights showcased the best of both cuisines. While the guests were enjoying their scrumptious dinner, they were treated to top-tier entertainment. Violinist Jay Cayuca, singer Elle Adda, and the Daloy Dance Group performed a mix of ballet and cariñosa, capturing both French and Filipino artistry.

Aside from the festivities, guests were also treated to a wonderful raffle. One lucky guest won an overnight stay at Shangri-La The Fort. Other raffle winners received two round-trip business class tickets to France, courtesy of Air France. Arguably the most exciting prize was a two-night stay at Le Bristol Paris, including an exclusive Parisian shopping experience at Printemps Paris, which was also part of the prize pool.
Honoring Sustainability
A key highlight of the evening was the third iteration of the annual Le Trophée Bleu: Business Sustainability Award. The award honored outstanding initiatives in sustainable development, spotlighting organizations that applied and practiced sustainability as guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Make Sense’s commitment to driving growth was highlighted when it was awarded the Sustainable Excellence for SMEs Category. Acted was honored in the Peace category in recognition of its exceptional efforts to foster harmony and cooperation. The Partnership Category Award acknowledged CMA CGM’s dedication to building strong partnerships. EssilorLuxottica received the People Category award for its work in uplifting communities and promoting social responsibility, while Sodexo was recognized in the Planet Category for its initiatives supporting environmental sustainability.
