Award-winning Italian restaurant a mano celebrated five years of Italian excellence with an evening of innovative pizza creations.
An extraordinary one-night-only event kicked off a mano’s festivities ahead of its fifth anniversary on September 13, 2024.

A mano is a beloved Italian bistro committed to offering an authentic dining experience through a perfect blend of traditional recipes and contemporary innovation. It is ranked 96th best pizza in the world in 2023 and 12th best pizza in Asia-Pacific in 2024 according to 50 Top Pizza.
Two Award-winning Restaurants, Five Unique Pizzas, One Night Only
Italian pizzaiolo (pizza maker) Stefano Canosci brought a slice of culinary innovation to Manila at the “Pizza Revolution” event at a mano at their Gateway Mall branch in Araneta City, Quezon City.
Known for his exceptional creations at Pizzeria Chicco Colle, ranked 40th best in Italy and 83rd worldwide by 50 Top Pizza, Stefano presented a special five-pizza set menu, showcasing his signature styles alongside Filipino-inspired twists.

It gave us the opportunity to connect with a network of talented Italian chefs. As we strive to push the envelope further at a mano, we want to improve our offers, as well as explore unique pizzas from around the world and bring it here.”

Each pizza is crafted to perfection, reflecting Stefano’s mastery and creativity in the art of pizza-making. A mano chef Jonathan Redoblado prepared pizzas alongside Stefano.
A Special Five-course Pizza Dinner
The special dinner featured the following exclusive pizzas that started with the Fried Pizza Cone made with Latteria Sorrentina Fior di Latte mozzarella cheese, Prosciutto Cotto (cooked), Truffle Fonduta (fondue). This was followed by the delectable Gourmet Fried & Baked Pizza made of raw gambero rosso (Sicilian Red Prawns), burrata, Nomad caviar, lemon zest, and parsley. The FilipiNEO – Neapolitan Pizza by A mano was a unique collaboration of An Italian and Filipino pizza made of Latteria Sorrentina Fior di Latte and Fontina cheeses, squash flowers, zucchini, Sicilian bottarga (mullet roe). Their version of a thick Italian pan pizza was the Pizza al Padellino “AMANOtriciana” with tomato sauce, guanciale (salt cured pork jowl), and Pecorino Romano cheese. The classic Italian dish Vitello Tonnato made with sliced veal topped with tuna sauce was made into a Scrocchiarella or a Roman-style thin crust pizza. Guests indulged in a delectable dessert course of Chocolate and Hazelnut Pagoda with Pistachios with free-flowing Aperol Spritz cocktails or A mano’s signature Iced Tea.
