After unveiling the new look and direction of Lifestyle Asia under the leadership of Editor in Chief Dong Ronquillo, it is only fitting to celebrate this milestone with key people starting with this month’s cover personality, Che Uy.
Important guests such as couple Che and Dennis Uy, Bea Lhuillier, Dr. Vicki Belo, Florence Ko of Furnitalia, and partners such as Furla and Belo Medical Group graced an intimate dinner held at Nobu Restaurant in the heart of City of Dreams Nobu Hotel.
Ronquillo presented Lifestyle Asia magazine’s new direction emphasizing its new tagline “living a meaningful life.” He shared that the new generation inspired this proposition. Their definition of luxury has evolved to not only enjoying the best things in life but pursuing a life that best fits them.
Following the speech was the opening message from the City of Dreams’ executive Kevin Benning extending his gratitude to guests for coming to this exclusive dinner.
Nobu Restaurant served everyone with a special 4-course dinner, featuring a variety of flavorful food and refreshments. Each guest started off the feast with Zanzai, pickled tomatoes and shaved root vegetables dressed in Matsuhisa.
For the main course, Chef’s choice sushi and sashimi and crisp, butter lettuce salad indulged the guests. They also chose an entree between sumptuous Sous Vide Australian tenderloin with Miso mushrooms and Kabotcha dumplings and a Black Cod Miso suffused in Sweet Den Miso sauce.
Guests selected their choice from the tasteful blend of wines of Titania Wine Cellar’s Mouton Cadet Rouge and Mouton Cadet Blanc.
The entrée is capped off with Nobu Style Tofu Cheesecake with the tangy taste of strawberry sauce.
As everyone enjoyed the night, Lifestyle Asia’s Associate Publisher Abby Laurel extended her gratitude to major sponsors such as Store Specialists Inc. Group, Belo Medical Group, City of Dreams and Furla with its pop-up booth.
By the end of the night, Ronquillo applauded everyone for attending RSVP Lifestyle Asia. He toasted to celebrate the success of Lifestyle Asia’s brand new look and the March issue, acknowledging the fruitful and lasting partnership with SSI, Belo, City of Dreams, and lastly, for a splendid dinner.
