Casa Juan unveils its largest dining and homeware collection yet: a vibrant tribute to Juvenal Sansó that transforms everyday life into a masterpiece.
Since launching in 2020, fine Filipino homeware brand Casa Juan has remained committed to highlighting Philippine culture, heritage, and creativity with everyday objects that are anything but ordinary. What would otherwise be quotidian becomes, instead, a rich narrative of local life comprising a wide range of functional, chic products for any kind of space. The brand also engages in various creative collaborations with designers, illustrators, and artists—an effort that underscores its goal of bringing the best the country has to offer to every home. Its latest collection, which features the works of the late and iconic modernist painter Juvenal Sansó, perfectly encapsulates this spirit.

About The Casa Juan x Sansó Collection
The new collection, Casa Juan’s biggest to date, includes plates, coasters, side tables, jewelry boxes, and serving trays. Each item features a work from the private collection of Fundacion Sansó, including the paintings “Of Profound Joy,” “Of Gentle Reminiscences,” “Of Bounteous Optimism,” and “With Gentle Exuberance.”

This selection reflects the intentionality that defines Casa Juan as a purveyor of objects that carry meaning beyond their practicality. It’s said the works—part of Sansó’s En Vas series—were created during the happiest periods of his life, not only serving as pieces of his legacy, but testaments to his unwavering belief in art as therapy.

With their eye-catching colors and elated scenes of calm seascapes, idyllic landscapes, and blooming florals (all of which were integral parts of the artist’s oeuvre), spark joy from the sheer vibrancy of their visual language. Lying in the space between imagination and memory, they reinvigorate rooms through presence alone.

And while each object carries a story of distant lands that the artist held dear, including France’s region of Brittany, they still carry that quintessentially warm Filipino spirit, echoing the fact that Sansó had always considered the Philippines his true home—a fitting thought for a collection made to evoke both happiness and comfort.
