Since launching in 2020, fine Filipino homeware brand Casa Juan has remained committed to highlighting Philippine culture, heritage, and creativity with everyday objects that are anything but ordinary. The new collection, Casa Juan’s biggest to date, includes plates, coasters, side tables, jewelry boxes, and serving trays. Each item features a work from the private collection of Fundacion Sansó, including the paintings “Of Profound Joy,” “Of Gentle Reminiscences,” “Of Bounteous Optimism,” and “With Gentle Exuberance.”
This selection reflects the intentionality that defines Casa Juan as a purveyor of objects that carry meaning beyond their practicality. It’s said the works—part of Sansó’s En Vas series—were created during the happiest periods of his life, not only serving as pieces of his legacy, but testaments to his unwavering belief in art as therapy.
With their eye-catching colors and elated scenes of calm seascapes, idyllic landscapes, and blooming florals (all of which were integral parts of the artist’s oeuvre), spark joy from the sheer vibrancy of their visual language.
