Fashion lovers and society regulars flocked to Solaire for the opening of Louis Vuitton’s second store in the Philippines. The French fashion house sealed off the entire hallway leading to the new luxury boutique, where guests drank cocktails and uploaded on their social media under the hashtag #LVPhilippines. The party continued inside the store as people gathered to watch a French artisan demonstrate how create the iconic LV Petite Malle clutch from the singular skin of a three-year old crocodile. An artist from Singapore was there to paint on trunks. The rest of the shop featured the latest of Louis Vuitton’s offerings, including a Ready-to-Wear men’s line.
The privileged guest invited were amused by a large interactive wall that would activate moving, animated images of Metro Manila. It was a spot ideal for picture taking. After the launch of the store, the after party went well on its way. DJ Kat Razon spun first, getting the crowd on their feet and ready for a nightlong celebration. As a special surprise, Austrian music act Flight Facilities played their hit songs.
