Social media was abuzz over the weekend.
Maggie Wilson’s legal representative, Divina Law, has issued a statement against her estranged husband, Victor Consunji. It accused the chief executive officer of Victor Consunji Development Corp. (VCDC) of “harassment and persecution against his wife and her family.”
“Representatives of [VCDC], along with baton-carrying Barangay officials, illegally and forcibly entered the house of our client Margaret “Maggie” N. Wilson, in Acacia Estate, Taguig, purportedly to ‘padlock’ the same,” read the statement posted by Wilson on social media.
It added that the group proceeded inside the house to take videos of Wilson’s personal belongings without any notice to or permission from Wilson, in full view of the public, and announcing that they were doing so on behalf of VCDC.
Moreover, it alleged that the group cut off the electricity and then left, “leaving our client’s sister, 5-year-old cousin, and household staff to suffer in darkness.” This was supposedly despite Wilson’s subsisting contract of lease, which her sister raised.
“This harrowing incident has caused severe trauma and humiliation to the occupants of the house, as well as Ms. Wilson. Their security and privacy were invidiously violated, leaving them to fear for their lives and safety,” the statement reads.

Wilson narrated the said incident, supplemented by a series of videos she uploaded on social media.
Her lawyers expressed determination to “not let pass this flagrant violation of the home and privacy of our client and we will hold liable to the fullest extent of the law all those involved in this dastardly act.”
“Whatever personal issues Mr. Consunji has against his spouse is not a license to trample upon her honor and dignity and inflict fear upon her and her family. This blatant display of power and influence deserves the strongest condemnation. No one is above the law,” the statement concluded.
Although Consunji and his camp have yet to issue a public statement as of writing, the couple had previously described their post-breakup relationship as civil.
The couple separated after almost 11 years of marriage, as announced by Wilson in September 2021. Apart from media coverage, the highly publicized breakup reached over 40,000 engagements on Wilson’s Instagram post alone.
“We will always love and support each other no matter what…. will always be family as we share our beautiful son, Connor, together. We have remained really good friends and partners and will continue to do so. Both of us want nothing more than for each other to be happy,” read the statement posted at the time by Wilson.
She added that there was “no animosity” between them.
Behind closed doors
Consunji shared similar “positive” sentiments in a Lifestyle Asia feature published in December 2021.
“It’s a very big step in a different direction. I don’t see it as a negative thing. It’s not ideal, of course. But I look at the future, and I say, between the choice of being in a situation that goes down a certain path I’m not comfortable with, and being in a situation where the opportunities open up, I think I would rather take the more positive situation,” Consunji said.
Only a few days after Consunji’s feature, however, Wilson hinted about their strained relationship. She said she was denied time with their son, Connor, over Christmas eve and day “despite an agreement being made prior.”
Wilson said she had a vault of receipts to back up her side.
“There are strong reasons why I left and if you think I left because of another guy, you have no idea. Those reasons will be revealed in time. I have been put through so much over the last 3 months and more so the last few years. Judge me all you want. If you think you know, you haven’t seen anything yet,” Wilson posted.
“Lastly, if anything happens to me or anyone close to me, you know where to look,” Wilson concluded her post.
Nonetheless, both Consunji and Wilson attended their son’s 10th birthday celebration in February 2022.
The media have since reported that Consunji has sued Wilson and her rumored boyfriend, Tim Connor, for adultery. One PH posted on July 15 alleged documents detailing the said case.
