Last Tuesday, premiere Filipino designer Randy Ortiz showcased the new Homage collection at the Peninsula Manila’s Conservatory. The large celebration marked his 30th year in the fashion industry, and the who’s who of Manila stepped out in support of his illustrious career. Lifestyle Asia also premiered their December 2018-January 2019 cover at the event, which features eight millennial models, the sons and daughters of Randy’s muses from the last three decades. Here’s a closer look at our cover personalities.

Ashley Montenegro, 19
Ashley, who recently moved to the Philippines from California is a fulltime student at Enderun College and a part time fashion model. The daughter of Hans Montenegro and Cara Subijano, she hopes to finish her studies and find a balance between working in showbiz and becoming a successful entrepreneur.
Aya Abesamis, 26
Aya is the only daughter of iconic Filipina beauty queen Desiree Verdadero and former male model JB Abesamis. Forging her own career in the industry, Aya is a fulltime model and says she uses fashion to express herself. When she’s not on the runway, Aya loves to create art works that she describes as “very eclectic.”
Harrison Hay, 18
At his sophomore year at De La Salle University (studying entrepreneurship), Harrison Hay also keeps himself busy with sports like football and basketball. Although he’s not quite sure becoming a fashion model is in his career path, Harrison was happy to walk for Tito Randy, who he says is “very close friends with his mom.”
Joshua Benipayo, 21
Joshua Benipayo (also known as Joshua de Sequera) plays for the volleyball varsity team of his school, the College of Saint Benilde (CSB). However, he moonlights as a fashion model. The son of beauty queen Marina Benipayo, Joshua describes Randy as his mom’s “designer best friend.”
Kaila Estrada, 22
Model and social media influencer Kaila Estrada says that her father, actor John Estrada, was an original Randy Ortiz Boy, who modeled alongside Richard Gomez in his youth. Her mother, Janice de Belen, was also a frequent muse of the designer. In our recent cover story, the young woman raves about Randy’s good heart and pleasant nature.
Lorenzo and Nic Gonzalez, 21 & 18
The two young sons of iconic Randy Ortiz muse Tweetie de leon-Gonzalez are both students at DLSU. Big bro Lorenzo is a Civil Engineering major, who recalled the first time he wore Randy Ortiz, which was on prom night. On the other hand, Nic has a wide interest in the arts. The aspiring musicians writes music and poetry.
Sabina Gonzalez, 22
Tweetie de Leon-Gonzalez’s eldest, Sabina, takes after her mother. She works as a fashion model, while studying to be an architect. During the cover shoot, she reminisced her first time wearing Randy Ortiz, which was at her 70s hippie-themed seventh birthday party.
